The Spartans Baseball Team is comprised of students from Bloomfield Middle School and Old Kentucky Home Middle School.  Games are played at NCHS and take place in the spring. 

BMS plays in the MKAC Conference and fields three teams - 6th Grade, 7th Grade, and 8th Grade.

BMS has a huge history of bringing home the honors and electing students to state and national level offices with our BETA program. 

Blast is hosted every Wednesday morning from 7:55-8:05 for students who want to voluntarily study and pray together.  This program is led by students and hosted by Ms. Lewis.  

BMS is 1 of 23 Middle School level FFA Chapters in the state of Kentucky.  Our FFA is lead by Rachel Sibert and sponsors the Bloomfield Christmas Pageant Chili Supper in December, the annual BMS Valentine Social Dance, and other community initiatives.  

Each of our 22 Care and Connects elect a student leader and those that are 8th Graders are given the opportunity to run for House Governor.  Ms. Dirr, Ms. Sibert, and Ms. Burgin work daily with our leaders to create and host school wide events, such as dances, C&C parties, holiday events, and anything that helps our students with Blazing a Trail of Excellence.

Milby Mart is a newly created tradition used to honor students who are Blazing a Trail of Excellence! 

The Legacy Softball Team is comprised of students from Bloomfield Middle School, Boston School, New Haven School, and Old Kentucky Home Middle School.  Games are played at NCHS and take place in the spring.

Primarily for students who want to compete in the STLP Regional and State competition, we will create a showcase project that involves technology. STLP explores areas of technology such as 3D printing, robotics, game design, and coding.

The Student NRG Team at BMS is responsible for bringing the energy, excitement, and support to our school community.  Student NRG Team members include students who are on the broadcast team, yearbook team, office aides, facility assistants, BES aides, concession stand managers, bookkeeping aides, and sporting event workers.
